Tawas Bay Harbor, MI

On the northeasterly portion of Saginaw Bay, an arm of Lake Huron, adjacent to Tawas, Michigan.  Authorized by the Rivers and Harbors Act of 13 August 1968.  The existing project provides for a breakwater having four interconnected sections with an aggregate length of 1,750 feet, extending southerly and easterly into Tawas Bay from the existing State pier with facilities for recreational fishing from the breakwaters; and with depths of 12 feet in the entrance and 10 feet in anchorage area.
