Harrisville Harbor, MI

Harrisville Harbor, Michigan is located on the west shore of Lake Huron, 20 miles north of Oscoda and 30 miles south of Alpena. The project was by the River and Harbor Act of 2 March 1945. The project provides for a harbor of refuge dredged to a 10-foot depth, protected by rubblemound breakwaters, and a harbor entrance channel 10 feet deep extending to the 12-foot contour in Lake Huron.
