SUMMARY: The City of Virginia proposed work at 6th Ave. West and 17th St. South includes but is not limited to street resurfacing, replacement of curbs, gutters, and sidewalks to meet ADA requirements, replace of sanitary/storm sewers and water mains, replace storm manholes and catch basins, replace or add street lighting, and restore turf to impacted areas. The project is being completed pursuant to Section 569 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1999, Public Law 106-53, as amended.
