Preliminary Finding of No Significant Impact and Environmental Assessment for GW Kuhn (GWK) Headwall Outfall Repair, Red Run Drain, Oakland County, MI

The USACE proposes cost reimbursement up to 75% to the GW Kuhn Drainage District, Oakland and Macomb Counties, Michigan, pursuant to Section 219 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1992, Public Law 102-580, as amended.  The cost reimbursement would be applied to excavation of the channel bottom, cutting banks to a more gentle slope, placement of large riprap and armor stone on the bed and banks, paving the driveway and other amenities to reduce erosion downstream of the treatment basin outfall during discharge events.
