DETROIT – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District’s Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center is changing from summer to fall hours effective Sunday, October 22, 2017. The new hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily through December 24, 2017.
The Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center features information on the history of Lake Superior, the shipping activity in the Twin Ports of Duluth/Superior harbors, and other work the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers does throughout the region. Attraction features include various full-sized replicas, many hands-on models, several videos and informational brochures.

There is never an admission charge to the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center or any of its programs.
The Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center is located in the historic Canal Park, Duluth, Minnesota at the foot of the Aerial Lift Bridge.
