Manistee, MI on Lake Michigan

Manistee Michigan is located on the south eastern shore of Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Manistee River. A Section 111 Detailed Project Report (DPR) was prepared in 1974 to investigate potential shoreline damages attributable to the Federal structures. Results from the DPR indicate that placement of sediment downdrift of the harbor is suggested.
