Sebewaing River, MI

Sebewaing River is located on Saginaw Bay in the thumb of Michigan, on the west shore of Lake Huron, about 20 miles northeast of the mouth of the Saginaw River. Michigan, The project was authorized by the Rivers and Harbors Act of 3 June 1896. This provides for extending the channel to the 8-foot contour in Saginaw Bay, a distance of about 15,000 feet from the river's mouth, and increasing its width to 100 feet and its depth to 8 feet.
