Mackinac Island Harbor, MI

Mackinac Island Harbor is a recreational harbor located on the southeast side of Mackinac Island, which lies just east of the Straits of Mackinac, the connecting waterway between Lakes Michigan and Huron. Mackinac Island Harbor is a shallow draft recreational harbor with approximately 1,860 feet of rubble mound breakwaters originally constructed in 1914 and rehabilitated in 1987.  This project is authorized by River & Harbor Acts of 25 Jun 1910, 17 August 1966.
